Our Founder's Story
MedxGo was born from a simple but powerful realization: access to food and healthcare should never depend on where you live or who is available to help you.
The idea came to life when our Founder & CEO, Timilehin Oluwaseyi Adeleke. O, travelled to a town in Osun State, for a business meeting. After hours without a meal, he struggled to find a Standard nearby restaurant in the city. What seemed like a personal inconvenience quickly became a much larger question:
"If finding a simple meal was this difficult for me, what happens to someone who is elderly, recovering from illness, living alone, or leaving a hospital with a prescription but no food?"

That experience revealed a critical gap that millions of Nigerians face every day. Patients often leave healthcare facilities with prescriptions but must make separate journeys to find medicines and food—sometimes while weak, elderly, or without anyone to assist them. Many medications are meant to be taken with food, yet the systems that provide healthcare and nutrition have traditionally operated independently.
Driven by this insight, extensive conversations with patients, pharmacists, restaurant owners, and delivery riders confirmed that the real challenge was not simply delivery—it was access. From this vision, MedxGo was created to bridge the gap between healthcare and everyday essentials by bringing trusted restaurants, licensed pharmacies, medical suppliers, and intelligent delivery services together on one platform.
Today, MedxGo continues to pursue that mission with one goal: ensuring that no one has to choose between getting their medication and getting a meal. Every order delivered is another step toward making healthcare, nutrition, and convenience more accessible for individuals, families, and communities across Nigeria and, ultimately, Africa.
